Matthia & Giovanni are the 'new kids’ in Piedmont, hand making old world legacy wines with new techniques and deep respect for their terroir and the relation between wine and food. The wine and food experience has always been a motivating force for Matthia & Giovanni. Schoolmates, they would skip high school to cook and sample wines!

Committed to sustainable farming with no use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers, they cultivate only three hectares in 3 different vineyards which allows for meticulous work in the vineyard and extreme cleanliness in the cellar producing wines that faithfully express the vintage in all its aspects.

Ghëddo is a Piemontese word difficult to translate. Ghëddo is initiative, in one's own style. It is inspiration and persistence to overcome adversity and succeed.
